What that means in practice:
- Some links on this site — primarily on the gear page — are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, this site earns a small commission.
- You pay nothing extra. The price is identical whether you use the link or not.
- Affiliate income pays for travel and hosting. It does not buy placement: no product appears on this site because a company asked or paid for it.
What affiliate links never touch
Shop reviews are never sponsored. Every drink reviewed on this site is paid for out of pocket, shops are not told a review is happening, and no shop can pay to be reviewed, to improve a score, or to remove a review. The moment that changes, this site has no reason to exist.
